I am sooooo glad I'm not a console gamer anymore. 3DS/Vita have zero failure rate. I couldn't imagine waiting so long and spending so much money for YET ANOTHER console that wasn't properly set up or tested by the manufacturer. Hell, I'm still surprised MS survived the 360's RROD fiasco.

I'm starting to think that nobody has fun playing Pokemon anymore. All of the intricacies that make the game such a delightful pile of chance seem to be the fun part to me. Hell, I think super training is great, but that's as far as I go to try and perfect anything the game throws at me- I just catch, level grind a

I would've made it "Bo-Ner."

It took me about 2 seconds to get the first sword in the original Zelda. NEXT!

No problem. I've been back and forth on the topic- like, some people have accused me of choosing interests based on popularity, or lack thereof, alone- which isn't true. I simply found interest in things that were unique throughout my life. Things that had to be searched out, earned, and investigated have always

It's the most prominent side effect of the internet. I'm guilty of this type of reaction myself. Ever since I was a kid, I would hate things that got way too popular beyond their apparent interest, and the more recent behavior of the internet- especially social media- has made it unbearable. I almost find it to be

If you are indeed 16 years old, may I first say I am verily impressed with your diction and sincerity. That said, I didn't take it as a "dick comment", ha ha. It's all good on internet forums- I just like to debate.

It doesn't take that much effort, really. I pay closer attention to the details of the game in text-centric sequences, and let the TV play in the background, and even mute it during vocal or cinematic events, maybe boss battles. Other times, I level grind the shit out of the game and pay closer attention to the TV

EW!!!!! Gamestop, ha ha :P

DON'T....... BUY...... IT. Case closed. Oh, and here's a tissue- feel better?

Ha ha- wasted? I can watch TV while playing my handheld. I can keep my browser open as well. I can bring it out with me, and play it when the goings-on slow down. I play it before bed quietly. I can even find a comfortable spot and play at length, without hunching myself over. I can bring it to a buddy's house

I think JRPGs have benefitted from portable gaming for one other huge reason- they remain visually colorful and simplistic to fit the visuals on a small screen, and put substance over cinematics. I can't tell you how much I love old FF games, Chrono Trigger, Mana games, and even the older Pokemon games just as much

Anybody who has played Super Mario 3D land or Mario Kart 7 can tell you that, yes- the 3D does indeed help one judge certain distances and depths. Other racing/piloting games benefit as well, but those particular two (ESPECIALLY Mario 3D Land) were fairly beneficial in my book. Zelda games are only action-y in short

Nah- it's cheap, and it keeps me interesting.

Ew! But, Cross had some very nicely arranged tunes. It's just, Trigger is the better memory in general for me. It's like if somebody fed you brussels sprouts while a goddess stroked your hair, then fed you twinkies while they kicked you in the face repeatedly..... you'd like brussels sprouts better than twinkies.

Your work has paid off- great job!

Seriously, great job. It's confounding as hell to accept that the picture isn't touched, but that should add some satisfaction to your hard work. Also, great choice of a character- especially considering how many people put FFIX in the bottom bin of their favorite in the series (it's actually in my top 3 amongst VII

And all of that math adds up to equal one awesome childhood filled with billions of great memories with friends and family. The ultimate social networking machine.

Yup- the way this is broken down, it makes it sound like you're accustomed to get a worth/time, as though you're paying by the hour or something. Call me old fashioned, but I like to plunk down the duckets, then think of nothing more besides enjoying the ride. I've had relatively short side-scrollers that were worth

The problem I run into with it is where I feel like I just plunked down 60 bucks on a jump rope. I've essentially done the same thing over and over again, ad nauseum, with nothing gained from it, nor nothing to show for it.
