Been a member of the NHRA and IHBA ( drag boats) for 40 + years, i still get a big smile when a nitro engine fires up. There is simply nothing like it. I ran a Pro Mod boat 15 years ago ( 7 second class ) and would never jump into a nitro car or boat. Those fuckers are flat crazy !!!

NHRA drag racing may not be ‘your thing’ but seeing it in person is the only way to do it justice.

Old doesn’t necessarily mean rare or collectible, so prices can often be quite reasonable. Sometimes people will give away vehicles just to be rid of the damn things and/or to reclaim some space.

What dream? Buying a bunch of cars that you’re not driving and you’re probably not even looking at them much anymore because they’re all jammed together? I appreciate cars, but not when they’re just tossed in a shed and nothing is done with them. I’d rather have 10 cars in good running order that I can enjoy than 250

They’re still immensely popular, for a reason.

You, my sir, are correct!

Geez. where do you find the “perfect pic for every situation”?

Those are the type of cars that end up on episodes of COPS getting pulled over for missing plates and eau de methamphetamine.

Those 38 times are only the ones where it ended in death.

That being said, they still need to be held to account, to some extent

This would never happen to me.

I remember one morning with my youngest I was so damn tired. Just exhausted. He was about 6 months old. Maybe a little older? I was on autopilot and I was just driving to work. I was about a block away from the office and he made a cooing noise - a gurgle or something - after having been super quiet the whole way to

In Land Rover years, it’s ancient.

Well, many vehicles’ steering wheels are held on with a single nut over the threaded end of a splined shaft. Often times, they’re on there pretty tight, though, and require a puller.

Probably a little more hardcore than people thought they wanted, and when it came down to the reality of them they realized they wanted the looks more than the reality

I’m sure Kenny Loggins has something to say about screw ups in this trailer.

Easy to maintain, will run forever, low floor height, and easy to park compared to other options.

I like all your points except the last one. They ain’t making shit for Gen Xers and so on, or at least anything fun that those people can afford. This thing will cost more than a decent house, they’re killing the already nearly unattainable-for-the-regular-Joe Camaro, and there’s nothing beneath that worth a single

It’s a French team, dammit!
