He has money. That’s why he is out on bail.

I have worked for a company who built product for the GSA (Government Services Agency) that went to branches of the military. We built school buses. The bureaucratic hoops involved in building a base model school bus for the GSA was 10 times what it was to build a special needs bus for a school district, even for New

There are many national records held at TRP. That place has incredible grip on the line and long ways out as well. Out of town racers often find themselves unprepared for juts how fast and violent that track can be.

Its less of an aversion to public transportation than most think. It works great in relatively small areas with very high population density and those Americans use it well. But lesser populated cities that have larger municipal areas, it doesn’t work at all. Oklahoma City for instance is 604 sq miles within the city

^^ agreed. You do not need internet or cable to survive. Human beings have done so for a lot longer than we have lived with those services. Is life better with them? Of course. But its not a life and death struggle to live without Netflix or high speed internet.

As someone who designs and works with complex cast reciprocating pumps and components daily, the casting process for an engine block in a V configuration is inherently more complex than an inline configuration. You don’t get enough of a packaging benefit until to get to a larger cylinder count.

DAMN! The 80s malaise era wants its body panels back...

I take all that stuff with me. Snacks, reading materials, etc.

Thats correct. Nigel Mansell experienced 50+ gs on impact with the wall at this track when he backed his car in. Lucky to back it in too. Only lacerated a kidney in the crash.

Laughing my ass off here. I worked in foundry’s for 1/3rd that pay that look and smell and felt like a dungeon adjacent to fucking Hell. Try working 12 hours a day and the only days off are the 6 paid holidays for the year. In comparison you work in a spotlessly clean, well lit, air conditioned laboratory space and

We dealt with ADA compliance when I worked as az designer for a ornsamental ironworks company. Residential and commercial compliance is very different. Just look up ADA compiance for elevatror controls, then you begint ot understand why things are almost always the same. So people can find the controls to operate the

Me too. Other than it being so damn dry in the late summer.

IMCAs, SUPR Late Models, Mini Sprints, Hot Stocks, all large classes at most tracks.

I was a regular visitor to the local tracks all around East Texas when I lived there. Boot Hill Speedway in Shreveport, La; Lone Star Speedway in Liberty City, TX; Rose Bowl Speedway in Tyler, TX, and Hallsville Raceway Dragstrip in Hallsville, TX.
Living in Tulsa, OK now and we have Creek County Speedway near

I get the concept of owning an exotic car like the R8. But, if you have to be able to afford it too. Just because you can get the loan does not mean you can afford it. You might have paid $78k for it, and that is what the loan is worth, but the car in actual is worth whatever the insurance company or a potential buyer

Might be a 26 year old Yugo, but its still better than a Chevette.

The spare under there was considered part of the crash protection structure.

Congrats to the couple and family. But that maternity pic deserves to go into the Olan Mills Hall of Fame Worst Ever album. Holy crap that’s bad.

It seems you cannot have the cake and eat it too, especially when you want it for a discount. Despite it being an absolute suckfest to fly, still much better than taking a bus or a train (essentially the sam thing but much slower).

Makes you wonder if the teams soon will have their own drones that simply follow their car along the course.
