I have seen a few of the BBC Top Gear episodes. It has its moments. I have never seen any of the Top Gear USA and I see that I have not really missed anything. Is this what the show is about, just a group of hipster goobers being stupid? Attempting to jump the shark and failing even at that? Do they actually get any

Not sure what carrier this is, my Dad served three tours on the USS Nimitz at the end of his career. To give you an idea of the power and size of that swell, the flight deck of the Nimitz is 89 feet from the waterline at normal draft. I remember as a kid when my Dad came back from his last tour during VietNam on board

Oh look! Another beige mobile on the road. Fantastic. The best thing about this vehicle is the badghe that says Porsche.

This is what happens when the car guys get silenced and the marketing hypesters take over car design. Bigger, lethargic, more expensive to buy and more expensive to operate vehicles that have literally have nothing to do with the original design concept. Same path Toyota took with the xB. Made it worse in just about

If no one has ridden or driven it to 300mph, then it doesnl;t go to 300mph.

Wichita will have a pretty strong wind this time of year to increase the effective airspeed and theoretically shorten the roll out. They may have to wait until they get a strong north wind to help out with lift, but you are correct in that this is a mistake that should never have happened.

Why? Because Trophy Truck. 'Nuff said.

Build a light weight, two door 3 box coupe with rear wheel drive and good handling dynamics with a decent 4 cylinder under $20k and I am in. I love the BRZ/GT86 but the $25k+ price tag is much more market based than honest price structuring. Its the same thing Ford has done with the Mustang and Mazda has done with the

Artisan.

You may very well be right. I was told this story by an old drag racer while drinking a beer on the tailgate of hsi truck after the races on night.

In drag racing, this is called the Green Gas Tank effect. One of the racers in the early days of drag racing hit upon some good ideas and started beating his competitors. He had also painted his gas tank with some green spray paint he had lying around to help it simply look better than a rusty tank. A couple of weeks

That, ladies and gentlemen, is wanting to get across the river pretty bad. What are the odds that his wife/girlfriend/significant other gave him the call that "tonight is the night"? Ain't no river gettin in the way.

Reminds me a little of the INEX (inexpensive) series raced here in the US with Legends cars. Cool little cars with old school dirt oval Ford/Chevy coupe and sedan bodies with spec Yamaha FJ1200 engines (?). At Hallet Motor Racing Circuit in eastern Oklahoma they put on a great show on the technical road course. Look

I will never forget seeing these Audi's lift the front tires off the ground during acceleration. And to think they were laughed at for bringing alll-wheel drive to the party.

WHY? So you can have a seat only a spider monkey can get into and sit in?

If you truly want to see Perfect Portrait Photography, look up the work of Peter Hurley. That's all he does, headshots. Pure, simple, no hokum processing of images, just light, camera, interaction.

Looks like the grafted the back of a Pontiac T1000/Chevy Chevette to the normal BMW sedan. Not attactive to say the least.

The 3Gs came out less than year after the 3G.

Hindsight being 20/20, recommend a nylon towstrap and a heavy duty boat winch or come-along with 100' cable to go in the trunk. Next time winch it out yourself and drive on home before you get roped into the nice little business deal the local police and local towtruck drivers got going on.

I was an early adopter of the iPhone 3G. Approximately 6 months later the 3Gs came out and with the firmware update that came down iTunes for the 3Gs the 3G got a little slower and lagged in functions, but I was stuck, still 18 months from eligibility for an affordable subsidized upgrade. By the end of my contract the
