The answer is simple. If you’re such an elite hardcore bro dude player, make a build that counters the dad builds. If you’re so much better, so much more knowledgeable, so much more hardcore, figure out a counter.

Sometimes the pressure is internal. Even if your friends are cool, no one wants to feel like they are holding people up. As I mentioned above, I’m visually impaired, so while I can do most of the jumping puzzles, I need a little longer to get there. Even when my friends are cool, I usually bail on it once they are

From the visually impaired contingent, it’s... conditional. I don’t mind some jumping puzzles, but timed puzzles are the god damned devil. I’ve done most of the jumping puzzles in games like Guild Wars 2, but the timed ones like they have on holidays are no go for me.

I’m feeling cranky today so I recognize this comes off far harsher than I normally try to be but I’m kinda sick of the obsession with numbers. How much do they mean in the long term? It seems so many of these big names are famous for being famous, but what actual effect are they having? How many of those followers

I dropped my sub to DCUO a couple months ago (I was paying by the year and wasn’t willing to cough up a chunk of change at that time), but I retain a fondness in my heart for this game. At the time, I was capped on non-raid gear, and honestly just liked tooling around the environments, and soloing the few walk-in

I have the board game Gloomhaven, and we’ve been playing it for over a year (every 4 weeks or so we meet up). It’s been a great time. This looks good for people who I’d love to play with in other countries, or other cities. I believe I read multiplayer was planned, and that just looks cool.

I tip well *and* it’s a broken system. Keep in mind, I’m not American and our food people have a guaranteed wage here as well, so I’m not talking about the abusive quasi-wages paid in the US here.

But Dick can’t be Nightwing, or else DC will just kill him. He’s probably safest being Robin.

Riff Raff after the aging app?

This is who I see...

Hmm. Maybe if you were familiar with Karla Homolka, this abuser would be easier for you to understand.

People refuse to call Trump racist because they agree with him but don’t want to be called racist themselves.

Those kinds of things can vanish in a heartbeat. My mother married my stepfather when I was 5. For 20 years I thought of his family as my family. I thought I had a grandfather (both of mine were out of the picture), and cousins, etc. Then when the grandfather passed, his will contained a little note that I was not to

I’ve had a few glasses of water dumped on this current keyboard. My cats would straight up tilt glasses onto it, no accidents needed. Took me about a year after the last one passed to away to break myself of the habit of securing my water glasses, and doing the slow drop of my feet to the floor so I didn’t crush a cat

Wow, the IRL version of dancing on the mailbox in WoW. ;)

I don’t think he’s asking for anyone to turn over all the records to him so he can pick someone at random. Rather, he’s filing notice that he’d like a period of time without risk of bulk records deletion. If he can narrow down the company with, for example, someone’s security camera or a witness, he can appeal more

I wish more games had that option. My friend and I usually play as a duo. We generally build our characters to complement each other. If he’s DPS I go heal, or control. He’s melee, I go ranged. He goes tank, I go DPS. Whatever appeals to us in each game. We completed the original Guild Wars and all DLC as a duo with

Well, if the men don’t want to play a game with female characters, then they can go play another game too then I guess. Oh, and I’m also a woman, so you can’t disagree with me either.

There are a few buzzwords that mean something specific but get applied so broadly that I kinda just ignore them. “Roguelike” now generally means ‘I had to try a couple times before I found the solution’. Metroidvania: ‘I moved right and left, but sometimes I had to get a powerup and backtrack through the whole map’.

I work with hundreds of municipalities across the US, and you would be surprised how many of them either outsource their IT to a company with a 4 day response time, or whose IT director is the cousin of someone who works for city hall, and maybe used a computer that one time.
