Good thing only able bodied people can become specialists in their fields, huh? And that no one in a wheelchair could possibly be the expert on a topic, the developer of a tech, the owner of a proprietary process, the best speaker of a language, or the sole point of contact for an isolationist sect.
I was just going to dismiss him, but I like your comment, so I’ll leave it so we can enjoy your comment and laugh at his. ;)
There will always be exceptions. We have vaccines, but there are people who cannot take them. We have people who won’t take them. We have people who suspect them. We have people who don’t know about them. We have people who can’t afford them. We have people who have no access to them.
I feel that a bit with Puzzle and Dragons. I’ve been ‘playing’ it for a couple years, but it’s not one I spend much money on, and I’m not at all into the end game metas. I have my Diabalos, and a team that can pretty much one shot 95% of the non-gimmick fights, and that’s good enough.
I don’t see any reason why a married person can’t be friends with a single person in general. People seem to have this idea that any woman and man in a friendship are just looking for an excuse to bone. It sounds like this specific woman may be looking for more, and if you don’t feel comfortable with that, by all…
Well, I bought it at release as well, and it wasn’t for me. You’re welcome to your opinion, of course. But there are ways to mitigate and it’s been worth coming back to for me at least. :)
I got the antimatter recipe from some random dude at a trading post I found while flying around the planet. No indication of why or who this dude was, just that it happened. So, try that out.
Meh, it’s not that big a deal. Like you, I started on an acid planet, but I panicked and started over instead of waiting to die. When I started on a fire planet the second time, I approached it a little more calmly, and I did fine. Got my ship repaired, even found another, better ship and got that repaired and then…
I had the exact same impression. He was funny, but he seemed really high maintenance. There’s only one other crit role guest that instantly set me to ‘dislike’ that fast, haha.
I know, I just spent 20 minutes following alien animals with a pooper scooper, so I can spin shit into diamonds and learn about the larger universe. That’s gotta be some sort of an analogy for diplomacy.
Yeah, I started a new game just to get the tutorial experience since it had been so long. My first planet was made of acid. The second was made of fire. I gave up on the first, but played through the second after I made it to the ship before the firestorms started.
Economics dude assumes 1) everyone pays the same taxes he pays, 2) he reads nothing so everyone else reads nothing, 3) books are the library’s only ‘product,’ and intangible products like community learning, afterschool programs, literacy classes, printing services, and senior services don’t count or don’t matter, and …
Enh, I have 90+ games backed over about 7 years. They have all delivered (those that were due). Games like Gloomhaven, Sagrada, the Tiny Epic games, have all been strong additions to my pile of games, just for a small sample. There have been a handful that weren’t the best games, but nothing bad enough to turn me off…
Does Superman watch sports?
She acted out of frustration. She made a comment about high level narrative design, and Derior asked if she ever considered baby level design, of the basest and simplest format.
The lion’s share of the angst about Jessica Price is because she didn’t tongue bath TotalBiscuit. All these shirking violets, fainting at the word ‘asshat’. But wait 3 minutes, and they will bring up TB. Every time.
“I want to be the bad guy, but it’s not fair that people don’t like me.” This is what it always comes down to for the self-appointed server bad guys of any game. It’s just a game, and all for fun until they suffer the slightest criticism or backlash and then all of a sudden the world is bullying them and it’s just not…
Interesting, I tend to work the other way. While I don’t see myself in the protagonist in a fill in the blank type of character, I have much more difficulty connecting to a premade character most of the time.
So maybe she could have died in the waiting room where she’d been sitting for 12 hours in sweltering heat instead?
