My other weekend mug:

My weekday mug:

This is so timely! I was actually planning on doing this as my weekend project next weekend. I bought the Cat6 a couple of months ago. Clipping this to Evernote now.

We absolutely don't ever mention salary, even though we are all public employees with a publicly-viewable salary schedule.

If only my work (school district) would drop their exceptionally terrible e-mail system that only allows 50 MEGABYTES! of storage and migrate to G-Mail. Every single teacher, staff-member, and student in the district has a Google account with our district domain name, but we don't use it. It's absolutely retarded.

I like most of these, but is it really necessary to make Wonder Woman so ridiculously busty? Other than that, I liked both of her redesigns, especially the caped one.

I'm with you. It took a character I had never taken seriously and actually made her look somewhat real.

Haven't tried it, don't intend to. I get all I need from Facebook by visiting the mobile site on my phone or posting to it and Twitter simultaneously with Seismic. I don't use the Facebook app because it lacked (two years ago anyway) the ability to turn gps off permanently (as in, when I turned on GPS for Runkeeper or

1996, 13 years-old, a 486 by Packard Bell WITH a CD-ROM drive!

I do use an HTPC for all of my television needs, but it's not just an HTPC; it's also my gaming rig. It's in my living room, hooked up to my TV, and 99% of the time it's used for television (and 100% of the time, it's the only way we watch any sort of television, as we don't pay for cable/sat and don't get any local

I don't know about rankings or whatever, but I've been really happy with my Microsoft Xsomethingsomething (damn...can't remember and it's at home, sorry) keyboard and mouse.

I use RunKeeper. It's pretty fantastic. The best feature to me is that it uses GPS to track your running for you, which is really reliable. It creates a map of your run and gives you a a great stat breakdown of your pace at different points, elevation, etc. It's easy to then share these on Facebook, Twitter, etc,

Ahh...yeah, that doesn't sound too bad, actually.

I would LOVE a site like that. As it is right now, I have an Evernote notebook that is just DYI stuff, mostly found on Lifehacker.

Pauldrons like that were typically only worn on one side, actually. It's similar to how a fencing vest only has padding on your right side, because in a fencing stance, that's the side that faces your opponent.

Heh...almost the same one I use on my treadmill computer. Only difference is mine is the right-hand model.

I'm in the process of ripping my entire DVD library to an array of drives on a PC that we are currently just using for printing. My goal is to use this as a home media server. I'm not currently using any special interface with my HTPC/gaming-rig, since the only TV we watch is Netflix, and their web interface is fine

This makes me feel slightly better about being a disgusting human being. I typically change jeans about once ever 2-3 weeks (I only wear jeans on Fridays at work, but I wear them every single day after I get home plus all day on weekends). I also circulate between about 3-4 different colors of dress pants Mon-Thurs at

I don't really know much about this, but have you thought about dying an old pair of jeans first?
