Especially on current gen, it's so worth it isn't it? I need to review games to have something to write about, and with Boomerang in the UK it'll take me three and a half months to pay the price of one PS4 game, while playing tens of them.

Very good post- BUT "getting handsy" with a woman is "sexual assault" :) to address a redundancy earlier in the post. It's not rape, but she is physically assaulted by him, with a sexual intent/ element. Hence sexual assault. Not grevious or anything, but yeah.

Except publications like EDGE Magazine.

Bro, thanks a ton for actually reading my shit. That's super cool. I'll reply properly soon, intense 4 hour drive tomorrow morning (UK side so very fast roads).

Had my work party on Thursday night.

Fucking nailed it.

In the game's defence, this sort of shit happens very, very rarely. Like, one in a hundred thousand people pull off this sort of thing. Possibly fewer. Most folk just go about shooting and driving and trying to do the objectives, in a fairly realistic manner.

Haha, a proper catch 22. Haven't seen one of those for a while.

You make the very good point that the interaction in the story is awful/ minimal. I was expecting 3-4 choices on all heists, and that different options would really mean a different outcome. But... It doesn't.

I don't think "praise" is the right word- but it is publicity, you're right about that. You give people like that publicity, even if you're badmouthing them. I think the disease behind what you're talking about is an immature culture- in a mature culture, people just ignore what they dislike or don't agree with. For

Yeah, as I've said to others, that was a mistake. Entirely my bad. First time I've ever not spoiler-tagged properly.

This isn't a burner account at all.

Apologies, was hasty of me.

It wasn't a good enough spoiler warning? Is that the problem here?

Anybody done this yet? Is there much to see? It looked like there was a nice actual chunk of the town which you just pass through, before you go to the LATE GAME SPOILERS graveyard chasing after Trevor.

"Cleaned up detail and resolution still easily trumps low resolution, jagged edges and blur that covers all the hard work put in."

You're on the money with the bad challenge design.

I think calling CoD Lego is giving it too much credit ;)

Yeah, it's funny as a reaction. Like, Banderas is perfectly capturing the sentiment of "ohhhh here it comes/ *gets popcorn*/ we have a winner / ooft", and it's a surprisingly applicable gif.

Drug Lord 2, haha. Class. Yeah Chinatown Wars totally nailed that mechanic, GTA definitely needs it back in. They need some deeper gameplay mechanics, I think.
