I think that's a big inspiration for it. I think it's a really great idea.

Co-op horror could definitely work; just nobody has done it yet.

I never played it, but watched a friend play it a bit.

You haven't played any of the GTA's after London...?! The biggest control leaps were made after that one! And GTAIV made it just about on par with any TPS or FPS out today.

You can also play the entire Thief series like that, along with what others said. Amnesia: Dark Decent is now the go-to reference for what you said, though. That's one helluva scary game.

Isn't it even a good thing that the comparison is even there? Plenty of AAA FPS melee games get no such comparison.

Hopefully a way to get some non-gamer friends to appreciate the series.

It's a game-specific function for PS3 games. Not many have it. I've never tried ones that do (usually just put my ipod or hard drive onto the 360).

Yeah, heh, to be honest the last two lines are the funniest in the whole thing. It's all a little too far on the amateur side.

I love this. I totally agree: it's symbiosis of two different arts and techniques. One or the other isn't any more or less important; they can compliment each other, or stand alone.

The concept of Dead Space 1 was co-written by a best-selling author. But tbh, the concept alone is the strongest suit of the game's story. The narrative is great, better than Gears', but the story itself isn't great.

As he says at the end, story is 'a giant competitive edge to add to your offering'. It's not necessary.

Haha, you live in JPN?

Ooft. Which song? He's a true master songsmith.

'Although my own theory is severe retardation of the brain.'

All the slagging of Lana Del Rey seems a bit unfair. Especially the criticism that songs like Video Games are too slow; most songs on the album are significantly faster, not to mention the meandering pace of the song is the point of the song.

I like all of those (love the Weeknd) but like Lana in her own right, maybe not on par with them, but not far off. She does her own thing well.

... Auld Lang Syne...?!

Marxist platform wars

That's a really nice analogy. Makes me think about trying Trials E even more.
