Is it just me, or did anyone get a more 'Thiefey' vibe off this? Much more so than Bioshock. I wasn't too bothered about the game but if it captures part of the dark tone that Thief had, I'm considering it in new light.

Goddamnit. I scanned the article (don't have time to read in full) and Ctrl+F'd to confirm if they mentioned him (looking for 'CJ' not 'C.J.'), and utterly failed.

Excellent points.

I work in a really, really chilled out callcentre.

CJ.

I don't really see why Assassin's Creed is being mentioned at all on this page, by anyone.

I think many, heck, most games have what it takes to take the 'FPS crown from Call of Duty', but that's in terms of gameplay. In terms of sales, nothing is going to do that. For a long time.

Same guy who did RDR and GTAIV trailers. I'm coo' with it.

I was under the impression it only affected people who had you in their line of sight. I.e. if you round a corner, not in bullet-time, but see a person in the distance who is in bullet time, you'll get slowed, too. Or if a sniper targets you whilst you're in bullet-time, they'll get slowed, too. That seems fair.

I know, son. But... there are other gameplay mechanics that look like they will be emergent and will be dynamic. Don't lose hope yet. Perspective is something you get with age, my boy.

The hidden blade is on the box cover. It's on his wrist which is raised holding the Tomahawk. It's just more sleek and subtle.

'In some missions' :/

I still think Brotherhood was the best in the series. Everything felt justified and 'clicked'. But ACII was definitely great. The central antagonist was one of the handful of things that made Brotherhood so together, where all the other iterations have been a bit faffy.

I Am Alive definitely isn't bad. Sure, it would have probably been a far better game if it had been a full retail release, but it's not as bad as a lot of people say. If you have a post-Apocalyptic itch, then I Am Alive will scratch it. The tone is perfect.

The driving in GTAIV is great: it just isn't arcade driving. You can't put the pedal to the metal and expect to get away without any crashes, it requires actual pacing and control like real life. It's one of the best systems, though it is very heavy (because, hey, cars are pretty heavy to control in real life). The

Was it actually nice. Please tell us. Please.

inFamous and Assassin's Creed aren't very emergent imho. There just aren't enough gameplay mechanics at work to make them so. In GTA IV you have civilians who can fight back, civilians who can't, civilians who will randomly pull guns, cops to avoid/fight, cars to avoid, cars to steal, drivers who will go crazy,
