Huh, so some missions just go from one to another, and it's only after certain missions you return to the HUB? And on top of that, a lot of missions don't let you explore the level before you start the main missions? Interesting.

Good points, bro.

Um, not really. F2P is free to download and play at any point. Past your internet connection, you don't need to pay anything to start playing it.

Yeah, you (and most people on here) don't seem to understand what F2P means. The game is free to download and start playing, but you have to pay money for more features, levels, access, etc. Microtransactions, as others have said. Also they get a lot of advertising revenue from it, usually.

Uh. You need an internet connection for a PC, too. And a PS3. By your definition, there is no home F2P.

I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned sooner, actually. The main chunk of the industry will be free-to-play within the next several years. It's the most economic model, even if it will lead to smaller, usually multiplayer game experiences.

Looks like a sci-fi version of Painkiller. Which is all good in my book.

This could mean good things for the animations in the game. Some of them, especially the NPC animations, weren't too great, and movement was sometimes a bit clunky when you hadn't gotten going.

Totally. What's the point speculating what engine a game will be made in if you don't even know the game exists.

Ah, fair enough. Still, that just means, "don't do the primary mission until you feel satisfied you've free roamed enough", surely?

Well there's a limited amount of power available to you, ala Crysis, so you can't have many on at once, no matter how good they are.

Did you play Rainbow Six: Vegas?

From what I've read of previews, and the leaked preview build, aren't the hub-worlds pretty damn free roaming? As in, you don't need to immediately do anything, and you can take your time just walking around exploring/ doing side missions.

The stealth aug apparently only works for moments at a time, and with a lot of upgrading it'll only work for a good few seconds. So you cannot rely on it. This is what all the previews confirm.

Deus Ex: HR looks like it'll be far more "shooterey" than most FPRPG's, even more so than Deus Ex 1: so covering, blindfiring, and bullets going exactly where you aim them are in order. Jensen's a security specialist before he even gets suped up, so he's good at it already.

Wow. I rofl'd at that comment. That thanks for the elaboration on how the leak was, too. I've got a lot of faith in this game being very, very good.

If you kill guards and don't hide the body they'll see it and go on alert.

He was at the jobcenter.

=D

I'd be more up for it if it was "presented" by Ed Byrne.
