Funny story. Back in 2004, Georgia Tech was a fun team to watch during the NCAA tourney and because Jay-z’s “Dirt of Your Shoulder” was popular at the time, my roommate & HUGE college bball fan, would go around singing “Hewitts is crazy baby, don’t forget Luke Schenscher told ya... get, that, dirt of your shoulder!”

It’s even better the 2nd time because of the “twist.”

It took me a couple episodes before I bought it, but I’ve loved it since, it’s even better when you re-watch it.

And it’s even funnier because Megan Ganz, who wrote two of Community’s mockumentary episodes, was hired as a co-Executive Producer and writer on Modern Family. hahaha

And speaking of the documentary or mockumentary format, I LOVE how Community, usually thru Abed, made fun of the format/style and exposed how lazy it can become.

David Fincher is a phenomenal director, but I’ll admit the Swedish version of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” is the better film. Michael Nyqvist, RIP, and Noomi Rapace were much better for those characters than Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara.
