Yeah, I’m interested because I liked the first three seasons so much, but I’ve not laughed very much so far...

Oh me too!
I’m a lie-around-in-my-underwear type of person and I’ve had constant house guests for the last three weeks and it has really put a cramp on my style.
Well, they just mailed me a letter saying that they owed me money. I still have to call them or email them or do something for them to actually give it to me. But at least I have a definite metric: “Is having to deal with this mundane nonsense worth a portion of around eight dollars?”
I received a weird letter in the mail from a former employer saying that between the years of 2010 and 2015, something had gone wrong with the way they paid people and they owed me $11.94, considered taxable 2016 income. And I thought... “if I have go through the hassle of filling in a New York state tax return next…
Rick and Morty is so great!
I’m not sure I would be married right now if my husband hadn’t invited me back to his place to watch it with him. It is a really great show. Shame about the fourth season. But, it’s still better than tidying up.
I’m procrastinating on getting the house ready in time for the FOURTH house guest/set of house guests since the end of May, arriving Monday. I’m procrastinating by finally getting around to the fourth season of Arrested Development. I gave up the first time around after the second episode because I found it so…
It would have been such travesty. I don’t know what anyone was thinking.
Appointment with Death? Yes. I didn’t think they could go wrong.
Exactly. The music, the pacing and the sort of ethereal quality of the flashbacks was haunting. I love that episode. Rachel Stirling was just lovely and so sad and did such a wonderful job of seeming just a bit out of reach.
Oh and yes! The end of Appointment with Death left a bad taste in my mouth. And it could have been so good!
It’s kind of like two different shows. I think it was Five Little Pigs (one of my favourites) where the feel really changed?
It was very dark and grim and Poirot was far, far more Catholic (and vindictive) than he was in the book or even in the earlier episodes. I enjoyed it though.
There were plans for Jennifer Garner to play her. I’m not kidding.
That Catholic nonsense was mostly the fault of Suchet. I love Poirot and periodically binge watch them all but the religious nature of the character was not very present in the books. Suchet converted at some point and it effected his portrayal.
My thoughts exactly. I rolled my eyes when I read his quote.
We used the Ferber method with our now-four year old when she was 8 months because I hadn’t slept more than 3 hours in a row since before she was born. She is now a really great sleeper, rarely wakes us up during the night and is able to put herself back to bed when she does wake up. We’re all very happy.
Me too!
My theory is that is going to happen after FTWD’s ratings start to drop.
