Prison inmates have a special place for rapists and a natural love for police officers. I imagine he’ll be treated with all the attention and care he deserves.

On both Origin and Steam my accounts were hijacked by Russians at some point. I didn’t know about this, but found out when I decided to delete my Origin account (on the news that credit card numbers were being stolen) and play some of my old Steam games.

I wouldn’t say that’s an excuse. The FF7 encounter system was pretty generic/bad/annoying, even at the time. There are older SNES games by Square which had better systems, such as Chrono Trigger, where you could actively avoid or chase encounters.

Just tried it out, and one thing I found works *really* well in TL2 is assigning the joystick to a small area in the middle of the screen, and setting it to “move” when the outer ring is hit, then setting a really small outer ring radius. With that, the joystick becomes a perfect traditional movement mechanism.

I thought (or desperately tried to convince myself) that those were rippling baggy pants.

Would it not be the opposite case? Older card meant to have rigid frames, where modern cards are built to have crumple zones? If this was a crumple zone, it may not be a highly structural portion of the car meant to bear load or impact.

At first I was like “oh, a fan project - it will probably have nice models but ‘fan level’ animation”.

Aeriths so cute I’m she’s goanna die!

The mechanic was negligent in his duty to evaluate the vehicle and ensure its safety. Because it’s ‘the norm’ doesn’t make it any better, if anything it means that the mechanics should be strict to begin cycling these cars off the road. How many potentially dangerous vehicles has this mechanic passed? It’s never just

I’m surprised the article never referred to him as something like “congealed milk/lemon creature Donald Trump” or “escaped cheese whiz experiment”. It’s why I read these articles.

I liked what Rym De Coster said in a PAX Panel (paraphrasing here);

I think they’re trying to focus on the fact that it’s a much purer version of rock-paper-scissors than other fighting games. Most of the other games involve convoluted combos, this one just boils it all down to the basics and focuses on strategy over execution.

*Sephiroth descends with his sword aiming at Aerith*

I think, as long as Nintendo is willing to do some balancing, or organisers are willing to ban (or just not include) certain overpowered combinations - it’s fine.
