Science deniers are not the target audience. They have zero motivation to watch any show that will attempt to change their minds - the confirmation bias is way too strong to allow that. How do I know this? Despite an entire Internet filled with actual real facts, they continue to deny reality. That takes some effort.

The headline says Apple bricked the phones. The article seems to be saying something different - that the user bricked the phone, and Apple is refusing to service that bricking due to the user’s earlier (and otherwise unrelated) third party repair of a broken screen.

There can absolutely be a distinction. It is likely illegal for a (used car) dealer to sell a car in that condition, registration or no registration. If that’s the case, then a reasonable definition of “operable” would therefore likely exclude this vehicle.
