Its very simple. Until now, most of Steam VR games were Vive-only because Rift didnt have motion controllers which most of these games require. With Touch out, the entire Vive library will be playable with Touch.

I dont think you understand. 99% of Vive games on Steam are not roomscale, only standing 360. Obviously any game is roomscale in theory - even in sitting games you can stand up and walk around your room - but in practice, most arent.
