Yeah, its very much exaggerated.

I agree assumptions like that are rational. Im guessing OP was taking a piss out of people (like the author of the article) who would say its not ok to assume a person is straight despite gays being a small minority, for example.

It is actually. You might mean to give offense but it doesnt have to be taken. It can also be taken if you dont mean to give it.

Heh, yeah... while i wouldnt describe something like that happening in VR as “scary”, it can definitely be weird or even uncomfortable. So i understand the devs position, several other VR softwares already have sort of a “personal bubble” option in place.

Ah, Razor. Cracking shit since 1911.

I dont know. I meant positive attention from the people actually considering going so mainly japanese people. Maybe they like this rule more often than not? Who knows.

I guess there is a large number of potential customers who are bigots who would be discouraged from coming to the con for fear of catching the gay?

Weeell, usually i guess but what about Ladybeard?

I imagine if its a passable person they wont interfere.

The erect child nipples alone are pretty nsfw.

Why is that relevant? Keeping the title secret is not the same as misleading them.

Either youre not explaining yourself properly or you have more than one point because that and

No at all. To the end user it means they can expect high production values for example, more often than not. With non-AAA you dont have that expectation.

yes exactly so why do the actors deserve residuals?

Theyre called “video games”.

VAs getting royalties doesnt preclude devs getting them as well. Neither do (well, some devs do), thats why theyre striking. Devs can strike as well if they care for it.

Sure but leaks are often unintentional so the contracts cant be too harsh i guess. Better just not tell them the title and lower the chances their tongue will slip.

True but that can be said about any one member of the development team so in a collaboration the only way you can measure success is by the results, not each individual.

It means game with high budget. On average such a game will review better than games with low budget.

Better reviews doesn’t necessarily result in more sales.
