No, Mr. Pelosi somehow managed to distract the attacker and surreptitiously dial 911. He left the phone on speaker. The operator could hear that there was someone in trouble who wasn’t able to communicate, so they sent out the cops to do a wellness check. The attacker had no idea the cops were on their way.

That was also her house being vandalized, whereas this incident was her husband being attacked.
