Celebrities become overexposed thanks to us. Then when mission is accomplished, we shit all over them for being everywhere.

She was hardly a bitch. You don’t look at pictures on your phone when talking to someone. Calling a woman a bitch is very misogynist.
It seems like people just assumed he was using a translator because hes foreign and other reports say he was taking videos of her and being rude. He also allegedly said she must have been on her period afterward....it sounds like some of the reporters were kinda rude, she was also kinda rude.
Made me think of this.
You don’t even have to be famous to experience it! That’s the great part! All the women in your office may just decide to hate you for no reason, or because you “think you’re so great.”
She thought the guy was checking his phone while talking to her, therefore being rude. She didn’t know that he was using it as a translator.
Anne Hathaway maybe knows something about being built up, put on a pedestal and then torn down for basically no reason. So good for her for saying something.
No. Nicki Minaj in bad category after the Angola stunt.
Ok, A-Hath (Is this a thing? Could we make this a thing?), just don’t, J-Law fucked up, it’s innapropriate to pull the “strong woman” card for this kind of shit. Also, “FOUR TIME OSCAR NOMINATED” isn’t a “get out of jail card” for this situation.
Nicki minaj: good
The ‘lost experience’ thing is what blows my mind. Does anyone honestly believe missing 2 months is going to rob an otherwise qualified candidate of such valuable knowledge they’d lose out on a job? Because that’s the only time the amount of experience someone has matters, is when they’re off looking for the next job.
I…
True story: I was once turned down for a promotion because the male candidate was “more experienced.” We were identical in all other respects: We had both been hired right out of school. We had both been working at the same position in different branch offices of the same company. In some ways, I was more qualified…
Seriously. Three or six months over the course of a career is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
I was actually surprised when my cousin in Germany had the option of 3 year maternity leave. She is a nurse and they found a replacement for her during that time. I think the first year was full paycheck but I am unsure how the other two years went.
Also, are you telling me if someone else has a few WEEKS more experience than me, that justifies a pay gap? We’re not talking 5 years off. jfc.
...and remember - he’s touted as the SANE ONE.
Um. This is now how any of this works. Kasich is conflating unlike things.
they fall behind on the experience level, which means that the pay becomes a differential.
These guys don’t believe the lies they say, they’re pandering to an increasingly ignorant and unhinged choir.
It almost as if America is incapable of looking at other advanced post-industrial economies. Like outside your borders it’s terra incognita or something. wtf is wrong with these white, rich men that—oh oh, I get it. Sorry, carry on America. You’re not blind, just the people that want to lead you.
