I wasn’t talking about FFXV since I can’t comment on that one besides the trailer, which looks to be an improvement indeed. X and XII were already missing a world that you can travel, but instead had locations on a map. XIII having no towns at all was a step back even further. The mmo’s are very different games. I

Final Fantasy is known for having both great aesthetics and technically impressive graphics, so it’s not that it matters much in this case.

You can say that about all aspects of a game. A good story without a compelling world and gameplay is just a book. Exploration without a visually rich and beautiful world is just plain boring. These aspects don’t exist in a vacuum. You can look forward to a single aspect the most without the others being non existent.

The Persona series might come for that crown because of that. The world in FF feels more and more devoid of towns and people with every iteration.

I bet Final Fantasy gel is made from all types of Flan, so they should be ok.

Top 100 favorite video games in Japan according to a Famitsu survey:

Yeah, I don’t get why people would want to get immersed in a beautiful looking fantasy world.

Obviously a boobjob, you can see the scar below.

Same as you, two hours in I quit and traded it. I haven't even played much of Arkham and Assasin's Creed if at all. It's like you said, it just doesn't feel skillful. It feels like you just hit the attack button repeatedly and you'll do some flashy moves. I traded it in for TLoU:R which I already played and as much as

Poor Spidey always geting blamed for cobwebs...

Agreed, it especially falls flat since it's seems like she cherry picked Overwatch as an example. You have to think pretty hard to find examples of games that only have oversexualized females, but no majority of adonis like males.

No matter how hard you press, that metal slime just won't 'pop'...

The "Stick With It" achievement I assume?

Agreed. If it's front loaded too much, it will just leave a bad taste in peoples mouth and people will bring up that 'shitty' ending. If it ends great but starts slow, the people that do play it all the way through will remember the climax more so than the slow start. The ending is the reward for the player after all.

It always makes me wonder that to design these kind of levels, you'd have to be able to clear the levels yourself to some degree right? The placement seems too well thought out for it to be done by just a level designer.

That would be an even dumber metric with all the Xbox vs PS fanboys giving games of the competition a 0/10. That would actually be worse than MS spinning...
