The video is just too short to mention the crazy amount of great and important games the Playstation spawned. It feels like this video just shows what pops up in their mind at first thought.

Well you said it yourself, its entirely subjective. When you die you restart from a point before you died and the narrative as well. Its like rewinding a tape with a movie, it's (subjectively) less of a big deal than having two clear seperate entities with gameplay and narrative.

I stand corrected and I'm one of the 'dumb' people too then...

"For myself, I treat it as just another item which I need to suspend my disbelief of. There are other instances where the gameplay is at odds with the narrative (dying is a great example of this"

"If we assume that the gameplay is fun on its own (and we must, or else we'd just be saying "the gameplay isn't good")"

You're not alone on that. I tried to sell the Uplay key for Far Cry: Blood Dragon since I don't care about Uplay. There were plenty of people wanting the key, but then I told them it was a Uplay key and not a Steam key. They all lost interest.

True that, I didn't know there was instant killing on easy and normal. I think they might have done it on purpose so those clickers would still have the same feeling of threat that they have on higher difficulties. They do have plenty of checkpoints to compensate for it though.

Both were 'just another -fill in the blanks- game', the execution is what mattered, and both did that great. It's not a 'most innovative game of the year' award.

Then post your GotY so people can post how overrated it was, like you did with TLoU.

Though I understand why you didn't like it, a lack of skill with a controller doesn't make the gameplay bad. Plus the 'half a dozen guns' don't hold much ammo if any at all, unless you are playing it on easier difficulties (for people who aren't used to using the analog sticks for example ;)).

I pay that same amount in euros for 120mbps internet, plus it includes cable tv and phone...

I'm pretty sure he is talking about those with criminal intentions as dumb for not wiping their computer clean.

frivolous...

Still, it doesn't make sense why it's McDonald's fault. If you'd sue them for all the uknown artificial crap they put in their food, then it would be somewhat understandable.

The Dark Knight Rises...

You have to admit, they are pretty good at -upscaling- things.

The clip above is of KJRH's coverage of Sooner Paranormal of Oklahoma, a group dedicated to 'paranormal investigations and research.' Sooner walk viewers through a building that they claim is haunted. One of the pieces of evidence the station offers to this effect are the words THE CAKE IS A LIE scrawled on a

social.. card... browser... -_-

It's just that all great jrpg franchises got ditched except FF and a handful of others. Like this Southpark RPG is how I'd picture Earthbound to be like if it would have a sequel these days.

They should just do a remake on the first 2 Suikodens, like they are doing with FFX and X2 HD. Cant't wait for P5 either. A new Ghibli jrpg, a new Grandia, a new Chrono game, a new Lunar, Lufia or Breath Of Fire. Why are they ditching all these great series? :(
