With how easy it looked during the Keynote I'm a little anxious to try it for myself. Half of me thinks Biddle doesn't know wtf he's talking about, but Apple's trend lately has been to gradually add more complexity where there doesn't need to be any.

It's to test your physical location and network as being with Sprint. The exact same requirement for all network exclusive services such as Verizon's NFL Mobile.

Ok so if the initial load doesn't complete you may need to reboot your iPhone. Worked for me anyway.

Maybe you can tell me why I never get past the loading screen on the initial boot? Turned wifi off and everything...Anyways, thanks if you know anything.

Anyone else having issues with the initial load? Not sure if it's just my usual slow as hell service in my town, or if the service is down...or whatever the hell.

I'm still holding out hope that once Siri leaves beta it'll be available on older devices.

Only the initial startup needs to be over 3g.

True, they are featuring Siri in action in their commercials. Not sure how that's making a big fuss about it.

I've had poor results because I have an 4s on Sprint. Using my wife's on AT&T has been much more reliable, so really the data speed and reliability of connection go a long way.

Most of what Apple has done has simply been to show it in action. The big fuss has been from the media.

They aren't funny because people like you bring Apple into everything. You actually go out of your way to make a correlation where there is none in an article unrelated. Instead of taking off your hate goggles for a second and addressing what the article is about, you continue the smear campaign (I'm guessing) for

I'm surprised more people aren't tired of these jokes. Are they even jokes anymore? They seem more reflex than anything because no thought is even put into them.

So it really is setup that poorly that every app would have to ask for every permission available in order to test implementing it all? Great sdk there. I'm not even a little joking. That is just a terrible system.

So what I'm getting from their response, is that they have use agree to allow them access just on the off chance they decide to implement a feature that uses it at some point in the future? If that sounds good to you then I have a proposition for you. How about we do a preauthorization on your credit card just in case

I think spelling it raisin bran would help more than capitalizing would.

Nothing about Giz is objective. Go somewhere else dude, nothing but disappointment for you here.

That's not what he said.

You are my hero

Hi, I'm Clauson. Just wanted to let you know that this isn't some FPS or RTS game where people call each other "newbies" and get respect. If you have an opinion and would like to share that opinion, please use your big boy manners and share those opinions with some coherent evidence to back your opinions. Doing so

I cannot believe there's another Mountain Lion feature wrap up thread.
