There's people that don't do this?

So... it's tasty, right? I thought shouting "oishii!" and "umai!" was mandatory after trying food on Japanese TV, no matter what their facial expression really says.

This just sounds like a stupid marketing gimmick. And a drinkable "ice cream headache" waiting to happen. No thanks, Japan.

Then the question becomes this: What do you do when you get into an argument with someone and they refuse to outline their plan/give proof/whatever? That's generally my problem when arguments like this happen.

Yeah, I hated that too. Plus the last boss felt exponentially harder than anything in that last dungeon. If you die as a result of that, and then have to do that long trek again in the final dungeon...

Even if each floor is the same store (ie Mandarake), you have to check out on each floor, even if you want stuff from multiple floors. That's what I mean. It's very common for this in Japan, where almost every store works this way. But that's not the case typically in the US (you can take your stuff from Sears up and

Akihabara recommendations:

A North American release date for Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright. This is the #1 thing I want right now, more than anything else.

If you guys want to try the Taro pie (China in this video), they do sell it in the US technically. In the McD's stores in Hawaii. You can also get Spam with breakfast there too.

The problem with the reboot is even if it's good, it won't have that built in nostalgia with it. Sailor Moon was airing on TV when I was a kid. I've been into it ever since 1995 because of the anime, even if it is super cheesy. I'll definitely buy these sets no matter what.

OMG. Finally. Now I can FINALLY replace the crap quality ADV Films DVDs of season 1 and 2. And I can finally get the last season. Viz, I love you.

I read your first part a few days ago and it sounded OK. But watching the video... I don't know. I'm underwhelmed. That game looks super boring to me. I don't know what it is about it. I actually like visual novels and things. Again though, as mentioned in a previous post tonight, I haven't actually played a dating

I really don't care if the internet knows these things because, you know, semi-anonymous. But in person... I'd rather admit that I own and have played Fate/Stay Night with its couple of H-scenes than admit that I own and have played Style Savvy Trendsetters. And I'm female. Maybe I'm weird though. I dunno.

I want this game so bad. The first one was a ton of fun, but I never bought any DLC (due to lack of integration in most of the modes) so after many hours, it got boring with the limited number of songs. This has so many more songs and characters and should probably keep me busy for many, many hours. WAAAAANT. Come on

I totally agree with this. Not looking forward to moving back to the US in a year or so from an internet standpoint. I pay about $50/month for 1Gb/s fiber here in Tokyo, Japan. Not only is it that fast, but there's far less WiFi noise (many Japanese just access the internet via their smartphones) and I have never had

Or is it Tip and I'm confusing voice actors? Oops. Oh well. Either way, cute curly girl hair! <3

As an animation geek, I'm still impressed by how well animators can do curly hair now. First Tangled and now this. I love love love how Rihanna's hair looks.

A quote from a guy at work today: "Japan has 2 main exports; cute and weird." Weird. Check.

As an introvert, I don't like crowds. I've partly never gone to PAX for that reason (and partly because of distance). But considering I plan to move to either TX or WA in the next few years, it'll be close. Also, last year I went to Tokyo Game Show. PAX ain't got nothin' on TGS for crowd size. So yeah... no excuses

So ridiculously expensive, even for Japan. Yeah, I'll stick with my local Domino's. They will sell me 2 large pizzas for 1600 yen.
