Yep, and that absolutely works. I’ve been to the Ghibli Museum 3 times now (have timed it to see 3 different shorts). There’s still more I haven’t seen so I want to go again.

Really cool. I liked this show a lot. I don’t watch much American animation nowadays. Too much American animation feels the same, with the episodic comedy focus. It’s either comedy aimed towards kids or comedy aimed towards adults (The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, etc). I got into anime from a young-ish age and…
The thing I thought was funny about this Splatoon 2 thing:
This is essentially the same as the main game they did in Virtue’s Last Reward.
Because Nintendo, I am guessing no but... Is there a way you can copy save files and backup save files? Because then you can always have a fresh “powerful and cool” save set up for your son to play without him wrecking anything for when you’re ready to play.
This has been a problem for AX for years.
Shouldn’t be surprised about the LACC not having metal detectors or bag checks. They don’t for Anime Expo either, and AX is much bigger than E3 (over 100k people).
Yep, just what I predicted. It sounds just like TGS - massive crowds, hours long lines, etc - except only E3 has the astronomical, almost at professional conference level-pricing to get in.
If you can read Japanese, it’s pretty obvious it’s fake too. What it says under the logo “Arc Symphony” is more or less this:
All Japanese commercials are that way, celebrity endorsement or not. They try too hard to be funny and memorable.
It’s not really all of a sudden. It’s been huge ever since the first anime aired in 2013.
My husband (American) hates American mayo. But he loves Japanese Kewpie mayo. For me personally, I’m fine with both, but I do have the slight preference towards Kewpie (again, I’m American and grew up with American mayo). It’s less sweet, but is flavorful in other ways. I also like that it’s thicker and comes in a…
I liked the thimble. I used it a lot. :(
Why so expensive? Tokyo Game Show is open to the public. It only costs 1,000 yen (in advance)/1,200 yen (at the door) per day to go. And the public would have access to similar sorts of things at E3 as they do at TGS.
It was big at the time. But 7 1/2 years later? It feels like pretty much no one remembers it now.
I give books 50 pages. Sometimes 100, depending on length. If they can’t grab me in that time, they probably never will. There’s too many books to read to be bothered by having to drop some.
All of this was explained by Burnett and others before, but on the new special features of the BluRays. What I don’t recall seeing before is (mentioned on the original Trek News article) is the “north of $12 million” figure for how much it cost for the whole project.
Currently have a cockatiel. She can’t talk (male parrots are more likely to learn to talk - it’s one of their ways to try to impress the ladies) but she’s incredibly smart regardless. She has the personality of a 70 year old man codger who wants you to get off her lawn and likes everything a certain way, but the…
I definitely remember when the DS was announced. I thought the dual screen thing was a gimmick. I quickly got over that when Trauma Center and Phoenix Wright came out. Those two games are what convinced me to buy a DS (still in the Fat DS days!).
Man has heart attack and dies. Before he died, he was breathing oxygen. Therefore, oxygen causes heart attacks.
