I debated a V12 XJS as a LeMons car. It has been sitting for 8 years at a BHPH lot. I am almost sure I can score it for $500 or less since it has been sitting for almost 10 years, and likely it does not run. However, I think it would be seized and crushed as soon as it showed up at a LeMons race.

flippin' sweet!

Call it What you Want, it doesn't matter What you Give, any Modern Day Cowboy must Hang Tough after this kind of accident.

That's just so many levels of awesome. I'm curious how he did the ignition timing, as I'm figuring being fuel injected it probably had an electric do-hicky instead of a real distributor driven from the cam.

A buddy of mine in the UK has a Skoda TDI that gets phenomenal mileage. We road-tripped around the south of England in it between Stonehenge and Whitehorse. The body was that of a prior-generation Passat and we can get those as a TDI here, so I guess it wouldn't count for this.

I'm thinking water pistol.

I think my wife would take this over the LR3 she's coveting (this week)

Audi A7 concept was a drop top, right?

Outstanding! One day they'll be used and I can afford one.

I'd rock it. And that scares me.

I'd rock it like a hurricane.

Wow. As far as daddy-cars go I may actually buy this and give up my Audi-fandom.

Very well done. Noland Adams would be proud.

There is a lot missing...

@KatzManDu: Ok, not a Rover P5, but I'm thinking something British.

That's not a Rolls front-clip in the bed. Maybe a Rover P5?

What happened to that A7 concept?

I went for the Checker, because it's a friggin' Checker!

I haven't seen one before; my word. It's beautiful.

Compared to the stuff Garmin does for Aviation like the G1000 this is small potatoes.
