IIRC 3rd Gen Corvettes had radios this way, too. So it wasn’t completely alien for GM.

You can buy them more cheaply and import them into Canada than this obscene purchase price. They are half or less than half that price in the EU.

BMW 645Ci. They can be had in auto or manual or SMG. Super comfortable, all the features you can imagine and fast. Overlooked because of the BMW E63 M6 and “ugly” Bangle butt.

Indeed; it wasn’t that horrid on the E39 M5, either. I just had to replace the external pump/valve on my E63 645Ci and it was cakewalk as soon as I picked up a proper hose clamp tool.

Also for #3 on your list; use a real suspension kit to lower the car and not a hacksaw to the springs.

Indy (and since IMS has some different management) would welcome F1 back without batting an eyelash. The community loved it.

As I was just discussing this with the wife, Chris Evans is the guy who married pop star Billie Piper when she was 17, before she climbed into the TARDIS but after she cut her teeny-bop album. You figure that may raise some hackles?

The EU did bring DPF and catalytic converters to their cars, just at a later adoption date than the USA. That was also one of the shining moments of the EU; they were able to standardize these kinds of regulations that could have been vastly different among the 28 member states.

As someone who actually drives to Paris every few months (I live about 2 hours away) there is a lot you’re not covering.

Forgot about them. Responding to Stef’s post made me homesick but was a wonderful diversion from a crappy day at the office.
