Corvette is a religion in those parts. I've made the pilgrimage to the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green.
Oh dear God.
This would be fantastic in some kind of experimental aircraft, too. Mmmmmm.
@thnkwhatyouthnk: I can't tell if there is a backseat or not. I don't think there is; I think it's just a "hump" for a drivetrain underneath.
Given all the recent talk about RWD vs. other powertrain arrangements I bet the underpinnings are MR2 (since the last gen MR2 was not pretty, IMHO.) ... the Celica's latest styling isn't so bad, so someone made lemons from lemonade?
@badco:
Why am I thinking of shoehorning this into an Opel GT or TR4 or similar.
850 = nickasil block, right? Heh. Then again, if it still running now, it's not going to die.

@noremac: Ronin was an S8? Or am I confused?
You can't compare the styling of a '57 to a '65. The '57 wins hands-down.
The UAW has in-part priced US labor costs too high to be competitive. The specter of inexpensive (cheap) cars from China augmenting the US auto market is scary to the big three. They were emasculated by Japan in the 80s, the Koreans in the 90s and now the Chinese. The ability for the big-3 to compete on cost is a…
I brought the Jensen back to within 1 vote of the NSU! The Jensen has the whole shooting-brake thing going for it as well as a fugly yellow.
