I mean, it looks bad. You can make an argument that “It’s okay that it looks bad”, but I don’t think people are really thinking that it looks good.

VPNs introduce latency. They can be pretty bad for a lot of online gaming that is dependent on sync times.

IP Address is enough to pinpoint a city or general suburb. Whatismyipaddress shows how simple that can be if you’re not behind a VPN.

Your IP isn’t static, but it doesn’t refresh all that often. I’ve had the same IP address for years until I changed modems. They’re not reserved, but they don’t cycle them unless they have a reason to.  Not to mention they tend to be from the same pool for a specific area.

Nintendo Land is the only game worth a damn on the Wii U, and it’s a game that CANNOT be played anywhere else.  It’s a goddamn shame.
