It’s less about “The Noose is a racist symbol” and more that players were using the spray in a racist manner. Players were definitely misusing the spray by placing it on top of character sprays.
Racist Stereotypes as in “Stereotypes pertaining to race”, which are by definition racist. You know “positive” stereotypes are harmful, too, right? The whole “all Asians are good at math” thing, or “Jews are good with money” aren’t as positive as you think it is.
Part of me feels like this is an excuse to play up racist Cuban stereotypes with a baked-in excuse of “But it’s not Cuba!”
