Despite the fact she was boasting in the above thread about how she uses the ban hammer conservatively, she is the only Gawker editor who I notice removing entire threads. Not because they are vulgar or offensive, but seemingly because she doesn't agree with their opinion.

Not necessarily. Setting a body on fire could also be to get rid of evidence that may have been left on their body, or in hopes on concealing the victims identity. And dumpsters are obviously prime spots for murderers to put victims.

"I say this bc I'm an African American guy & my white friends get more pissed off about racism than I do."

" I just can't right now, I just can't even."

No, he's not blind. Neither you nor he have any idea whether or not this was a hate crime. Just because she is a transgendered minority doesn't mean that was the cause if her death. Maybe she had an angry ex, maybe she witnessed something she shouldn't have, maybe some crazy person jacked up on bath salts and PCP

I kept them in my bag as a backup. So if something happens to the ones I'm using I don't have to make a run to the store right away, and I don't have to subject nicer earphones to living in there.

Some "kit" lenses are very good. Certainly don't get a Rebel with the kit Tamron lens. But if you're going for one of the higher end models that come with the 24-105mm it's definitely worth it. The 24-105 is a great multi-use lens. Even as someone who always stick with prime lenses, that one is my go-to walk

I didn't say the body doesn't matter. What I said was for the majority of "average" purposes the body will not make a difference. For people taking selfies, photos of their vacation or videos of their b-day party, the difference between a 60D and a t3i with the same lens is negligible. The sensors on the two cameras

I don't know why I would need the Cinemagraph app, but on sale to $15 from $200? I have the oddest impulse to purchase it just because of that deal.

The thing about talking about "better" and "good" with DSLRs is that the majority of the picture quality comes from the lens. The difference between a 1DX, a 60D, and a T3i using the same lens, will be negligible for most average purposes. Most of the time people simply talk about the camera body, with no comment on

I got called for jury duty once, but got out of it as I was going to school 3,000 miles away at the time. The same day I received my notice my father received one as well, which is especially notable because he isn't even an American citizen.

Supporting the author in "some way" doesn't negate your thievery. Taking a coat from a clothing store, then showing it to friends who may purchase a similar one is obviously immoral. Why make excuses for intellectual property? It isn't your right to own it. You say ebooks are your medium of CHOICE. So if you have

For the life of me I can't understand why people don't do this. I've used the internet since I was a child and, yet, the only time I appear in a google search is for honor roll announcements in my hometown papers. Choose your favorite name, or character or president or what have you, and create a false email with

Only twice a week max. I don't wash my hair all that often (the lone reason for its wonderful health) and thankfully I have hair that will stay whatever way it is heat styled. I do a tighter curl, sleep on on and wake up with nice thick bed-head curls which slowly fall to a be beachy wave (if I don't retouch) over 5

Yes, same here. With a flat iron it really takes just ~5-10 second pass for each smallish section I do (with around 18 sections), compared with a curling iron which takes 10x longer and can't handle larger sections of hair, let alone my entire length of hair. A decent flat iron really helps, though.

You aren't paying for a PDF. You are paying for the intellectual property of someone who spent years pouring themselves into that piece of work. Stealing it because you personally think it isn't worth the price is amoral at best.

You don't consider it stealing because it isn't "worth the price"? By that logic taking a coat off the rack at Macy's usn't stealing as long as you think it is priced too highly. Walking out on your dinner bill isn't stealing if you think the food was overpriced. Why pay for groceries when you can take them for free?

This is the only way I ever curl my hair anymore. I have extremely long extremely thick hair and never had the time for curling irons in the morning. With my flat iron it takes me under 10 minutes to do my entire head, and doesn't damage nearly as much since it only takes a couple of seconds total for each section.

I highly recommend TrueCitrus if you like tea or water with some flavoring. It helped me cut soda completely out of my life. Grapefruit or lime in my water and lemon or orange in my tea a few times a day and I have +100% of my Vit C in a tasty package.

The t4i is most certainly not "as good as the Canon 7D". It is a perfectly acceptable camera for a majority of people, but no, it is not even close to being as "good" as the 7D or 5D. Not to mention the camera body has little to do with "clear and perfect" (whatever "perfect" is supposed to mean) photos. That is
