So a 4-5 inch hump for the driveshaft - that splits a rear seat that mostly gets used for groceries, gym bags, and small children - is that big of a deal? It must be true because clearly people do these studies for a living, but... really?!?

Why would a RWD platform be so expensive? Did the price of driveshafts jump overnight?

Reminds me of the scene in "The Art of Racing in the Rain" where Enzo gets a ride in a Porsche at a track day (or maybe it was a testing session, it's been a while since I read the book...)

Convertible mini-vans will happen some day. No doubt influenced by her father's Mustang convertible and her mom's mini van, when asked for her dream car, the 7 year old across the street said a convertible mini van. I have to believe other future engineers also have these desires.

A base model with a 180 HP Quad 4, and then a 240 HP GT with the SC 3800? GM wouldn't have been able to build enough of them they'd sell so fast.

Sigh. 1996 called and said it missed you, but you should really move on.

Agreed. The Elise and Exige bottomed out about 2-3 years ago and prices are slowly creeping upwards. What was a $25-30K car 3 years ago is bringing $33-36K today. And finding the lower mileage examples from owners who were "shocked" that it rode like an apple cart and had the amenities of a Turkish prison, is

I thought the C-10 was listed incorrectly, but for an entirely different reason. I think the prices have ALREADY exploded in value, and listing it in this article is about 3 years too late. Have you seen the money nicely restored examples are brining? We're talking Camaro and Chevelle money.

Perhaps. But how many of those are true Tifiosi and how many are just F1 fans that root for Ferrari? How many of those are Italians that would then root for some other national tie in? I'm not suggesting there wouldn't be an impact, but Ferrari act like "Without us, there is no show" and I'm not sure that's

I love F1, and obviously Ferrari has always been a part of F1. But I'd kind of like to see the FIA call their bluff. Whenever Ferrari doesn't like something, they threaten to pack it up and go home. I'm guessing F1 would do just fine without them.

Why the hatred for convertibles? Especially from a group that frequently cites the only answer as "Miata," this feels a bit hypocritical.

Yeah, I'm sure it's fashionable and fun to bash the Fiero and/or GM. Ha ha - what terrible car, ammiright? Iron Puke, engine fires, mullets - Hahahaha!

All you guys asking about proper lift points are killing me. Will it wreck the motor mounts or wheel studs? Probably no more so than falling in to a damn sink hole!

Seriously. How can I take driving lessons from someone who references a '66 Camaro.

True, but then again, who IS wealthy enough to run a successful F1 team these days? (LOL - sorry, Lotus!)

Jalapeno infused vodka in a bloody mary is quite nice.

I prefer the term "Trophy Husband," thank you.

Your comment implies that you think my wife and I want to talk to each other during the flight.

I viewed this as another example of "Winners write history." Or in this case, winning means living.

But see - you're thinking like a consumer. (And a modern one at that)
