Three years? Paint me jealous. Three DAYS - yeah, I can manage that.

True, but compared to $200 a tire for a car - it's a cheap(er) way to go racing.

Yes. I know the series was called "racing Le Mans" but what happened afterwards? What is the team going to do now? How does the team prepare for the next season? It seemed like the other pay driver got the boot - what happened with him? What is PD doing to prepare and improve as a driver?

Whilst travelling back from a road trip out east last weekend, I saw a pair of these on... wait for it... a diesel Jetta wagon. 5 days later and I still haven't wrapped my head around that one...

Most are bad. There are a few exceptions...

I'm sorry, but I think when the article is about a 1993 Oldsmobile Achieva SCX, and the first sentence of your post is "I had one of these as a rental a few times." most people would take that as claiming your rental was an SCX. But hey - clearly it must be a reading comprehension problem, right Champ? I'll sign off

Look - if you want to be incorrect, I can't stop you. I can claim with absolute certainty you didn't rent an SCX because no SCX was ever sold to a rental company. I've seen the registry and documentation from Oldsmobile, and I can state that as a fact.

No, I didn't hate the Achieva SCX "so much." Quite the opposite, really. It was one of the nicer little cars that I've owned. But I can tell you flat out that you never got one as a rental. By stating that you did, your opinion is immediately invalidated.

No, you didn't.

Actually, as far as "belongs" in a Fiero, I've always thought the H.O. Quad 4 made a nice swap.

V8 Archie called. He says you're missing two cylinders.

No kidding. Oooh, look, here's a hot sporty 3 door hatch that is a runaway sales success.

Actually, Mercedes just bitched about safety until they got Pirelli to change the tire composition. I'm not sure how much they "fixed" anything.

To my thinking, this article builds upon yesterday's discussion that cars are too easy to drive and that, in turn, makes people bad drivers.

The answer is always "Miata!"

Until you need to clean and wax around them. Then they're a PITA.

I immediately thought of Clarkson's Elise review on Top Gear.
