I just finished the last episode and I hate to say this, but I just didn’t “get” the character at all. I understand that there needs to be an adversary, but the planet itself was doing most of the heavy lifting in that regard, and it was doing it well.

Häagen-Dazs is much better, you can actually taste ice-cream, where Ben & Jerry is typically (americuh!) over the top with half of it being not-ice-cream, but huge blocks of chocolate or cookie dough and all sorts of crap . It all just gets in the way of the good stuff.
