I'm guessing they don't aim to break back into the hardcore gaming business. They're just releasing a console that doesn't churn out godawfull graphics on HD tv's, which is more the norm than it was 5 years ago, when the Wii launched. Nintendo didn't go HD back them because it wasn't that much of a requirement.

Yeah. If the dolphin Wii emulator can make the games look good merely by upscaling, I'm pretty sure it's not that hard.

If it were relatively untapped, the exclusive titles would look a hell of a lot better than the 360 exclusives,which they don't. (Or the ports, which look as good as the weakest hardware can produce.) If it's untapped, by now it's just untappable.
