@RamblinReck89: I hear you, it took me several months to get starred over at Gizmodo. There is a fair amount of luck involved, as the comment I received a star for was far from my best.

@DreamTheEndless: The foundation series is on my list, I've been stuck on American Classics for a while.

@Beaner89: Until you were approved by a starred commenter, your comments weren't visible to anyone but starred commenters. Think of it as an audition process to keep the comments section(s) civil, enjoyable, free of spam, and indeed among the best on the entire web.

@RubiksCube: My brain won't listen to me telling it what that is, or what it is about to become...

I'm running 1280x800 resolution and this video was far too tall for my screen. Luckily I was able to frame the action pretty well after moving it a few times, cutting off *mostly* dead space at the top and bottom.

David Lynch approved this video.

@meatbag_pussrocket: Oh wow. I almost didn't press play, as I'm aware the sound is so deeply ingrained in my psyche I didn't think I'd feel a reaction to it at all.

Why are they discussing Asimov's Laws as if they plan on using them?

C'mon McDonald's, you know it doesn't count if the mold was present before it left your distribution center.

@jedimaster: NBC obviously doesn't know the internet exists; this is only the most recent sign.

@Fordboy357: To drink hard liquor and stay up late watching TV on weeknights?

@swester: Before he took Letterman's spot on Late Night, of course.

@Matt Fromboluti: @Matt Fromboluti: Let's hope this project goes forward without issue and serves as an example for the rest of the world. The thermal efficiency must be astounding compared to an above-ground building of similar size.

@_MARVKO_: Two Chilean miners ah ha ha...Thadee Chilean miners ah ha ha...

@tobylane: I disagree. Are you perhaps talking about the standard aerial view in Bing maps, and not Bird's Eye?

I wonder how much Microsoft is paying the company who takes their aerial shots via airplane to keep them out of Google's hands.
