I’m heartened by the outcry. There are still a lot of really awful things going on in our food supply when it comes to animals. But maybe this tragedy will get people thinking on a bigger scale and it will change some peoples’ minds.

Yessss. We do brownie-in-a-mug a lot at our house. The recipe I use doesn’t require egg or milk, though. Even if you’re down to a few items in the pantry, you can get your dessert fix! So easy, and it’s single-serving so you don’t have to worry about eating a whole pan of brownies.
