Yes, late bloomer here! I was 16, too. I had a similar experience of wondering if I was missing parts. Also, I was never a girly girl by conventional standards and not getting my period until late had me questioning who and what I exactly was. I think my thought process was something like: OK, I don't dress and act

Yep, same here. Halfway through and have no intention of announcing it on fb. I'm telling everyone in person.

Grrr. Won't let me edit my post. By "men's skirt" company I mean that from the perspective of sizing, not any particular style or that they're only for men.

I really do think that if more men tried skirts, like you, that they'd realize how comfortable they are and start wearing them more.

I came on here to say something similar — I love that tunic thing she's wearing! I may have to try my hand at sewing one.

Ahahahaha! YES. Madeline, don't listen to the haters in the comments here — you are right on. This is the bestest Christmas song (a point which, my husband and I have been debating off and on over the holiday), and the only Christmas song I can stand.

Woot, woot! DIVA CUUUP!!

Sorry to hear about your situation. That can really feel unbearable. I have been in a crappy-boss situation before where it took me a while to get out. I coped by reminding myself on a daily basis that I am not my job. My life is bigger than where I work, even if I have to spend a large portion of my day there. I

My reaction to the article, too. Only you said it nicer than I would :D

My husband and I did this!

My husband and I picked an entirely new last name for us. He changed his name, I changed mine. Our future kids will have our new family name. Our old last names are our middle names now.

I had a boss ask my immediate supervisor when I was at work-sponsored women's event if I was at my "man hating club." That same boss would not acknowledge my presence in the office, but would say hello and chat it up with my two other (male) co-workers. He also got mad at me when we had to do a road trip together and

That is a really interesting observation — food is one thing we can control, and in a time where we feel out of control with what is happening around us, we look to the places in our lives where we can exert influence?

YES! Same thing with the OB/GYNs here. I am a healthy weight and any concerns I had were immediately dismissed — basically patted on the head and told to not worry about it — even though I'm like, something is wrong here, folks. Finally found a doc that is willing to do tests on me. So damn frustrating.

Ha ha — I confess, I missed that part. I was thinking about delicious, delicious guac :)

cover the top of the guacamole and refrigerate it for up to three days

I got the dress at the Bettie Page store! They had a bunch of red dresses. The one I wore was the Ella, I think? The wedges I found online :)

I wore a cherry red dress with electric blue wedges. A white dress would've seemed like a "bride uniform" — they all look the same to me. That's not to say people don't look lovely in them, it just wasn't for me.

I thought that all colleges and universities had to use the uniform crime reporting guidelines (or whatever it's called where they have to classify the crimes that occur on campus) because of the federal Clery Act. Am I wrong? How are they getting around calling it nonconsensual sex as opposed to rape?

Oh my god, I know! Cryin' in my cube over here!
