So...probably not gonna fix the thing where I lose the pistol I have in my second holster and keep getting the same notifications over and over again every time I fast travel or enter a different area?

No. The Doctor's not going back to a time when he was already there, so it doesn't matter. His entire relationship with River takes place in a completely random order.

I still have all of mine, although I was born in '85 so I inherited about half from my brother and bought the rest dirt cheap at yard sales in the early '90s. For some reason one of the real gems from my collection was a mint condition AT-AT box. Just the cardboard box it came in that my brother happened to save for

Technically Daggerfall took place around the Iliac Bay, which is southern High Rock and northern Hammerfell.

Prometheus takes place in 2089, Alien takes place in 2122. The ship in Alien appeared to have been there significantly longer than the time between the two films, long enough for fossilization to occur.

Regular continuity Marceline became a vampire at some point after reaching adulthood (or late teenhood), Alternate Marceline never left the cave and therefore never got turned, so she aged as a half-demon normally would. Notice the bite marks are absent from her neck in the alternate universe and when she's a child.

Simon did black out pretty soon after first donning the crown, and awoke to find that he had done something horrible enough to drive off his fiancé. Finn sort of went in and out of it too, so I think all that happens is there are fewer and fewer lucid periods as time goes on until the Ice King is all that's left.

Like when Dallas ignored protocol in Alien and brought Kane onto the ship, despite being infected by an unknown organism? Yeah, I'd call that a smart decision that the entire plot of the film didn't rest entirely upon.

Also: I can buy spectres and demons and whatnot, but I simply cannot accept that no one said "Oh hey! An Indian head penny!" The thing's probably worth a mint, even with the hole (or more, due to historical significance.)

Chalk it up to spectre super-strength.

Something occurred to me while I was watching the episode. There's a bit of speculation that Sam's whole Amelia thing is some embedded memory, which I'd like to believe is the case, and it's mainly because of how bright, shiny, and "happy" everything looks during his flashbacks. Compare the scene where the two of them

No I don't mean I'm no longer enjoying Pitch Black — I use the term across the board in any situation where my appreciation of a film increases in correlation with the number of viewings. It's just that lately a lot of things that I watch I start to like less and less each time I see them.

This is a phenomenon that I typically refer to as "Pitch Black Syndrome" because I thought Pitch Black was sort of okay when I first saw it, but I like it more and more upon each viewing. Although for some reason I seem to find myself more often experiencing Reverse Pitch Black Syndrome. Not sure what that says about

Probably due to chemical castration to curb his pedophilia.

Ironically, one of the things that separates humans from beasts is the appreciation of art.

Now the smart thing to do would be to mass produce that rapid skin growth toxin and coordinate a simultaneous attack where they pump it into all of those Observers-only bars and their major administration facilities, but of course we'll never see that stuff ever again after this episode.

I really enjoyed the hell out of it, especially Izzard's performance — and the bit at the end was a clever way to get around him having to wear old man makeup past the pilot. About 15 minutes in I think my wife decided it was her new favorite show, but she's too embarrassed to admit it. I could see her heart breaking

I've always wanted to visit the Bleak House.

I suppose it's possible, but I tend to prefer uncooked vegetables. Onions are the exception. I'll admit I've never had deep fried cauliflower (which sounds like it could be somewhat palatable) but something tells me that's not what you meant.

After almost 30 years on this planet I'm still genuinely perplexed that people not only eat, but actually *enjoy* eating cauliflower. Suum cuique, etc.
