Have you ever driven a CRZ?

1. Nissan Juke

he is correct, pounds is a unit of force

The EPA rating for the CRZ is horribly under rated, that car will and does do 40mpg combined easily. my brother has one and on his 30km commute (about 50% city/hwy) and he has seen 42mpg since the day he bought it, on longer trips he gets 50+mpg.

I nominate the Honda CRZ with the 6 speed manual, because if you gotta drive a hybrid then you might as well have fun doing it. EPA rated at 31mpg city 37hwy, which frankly is a load of crap, you have to go out of your way to get that bad of mileage.

I think it really depends on what type of car you have and where you live. Here in BC I can get the oil changed on my echo for ~$30 at the local oil change place, or for the same $30 i can hop over the border, pick up a jug (or 3) of castrol edge and a few mobil 1 filters and change it myself and have full synthetic

my 25" long 1/2" drive breaker bar is always within arms reach, you never know when you might run into someone who has a few lug nuts loose in the head that need some tightening...

We have an f350 and a Jeep Liberty, guess which one we use every weekend to take the dogs out for a walk around the lake? Thats right, we use my Toyota Echo hatchback, and we're not talkin about 2 tiny chihuahuas, we got a big 100lb lab/husky.... and a medium-ish 15lb chihuahua/papillon, fold the rear seats down and

I think its because of the soft suspension, If it was a bit firmer I think it'd handle much better

The GTI had 110hp and 96ft-lb from a 1.6L engine, The Echo has 107hp and 103ft-lb from 1.5L

Toyota Echo, sedan or hatchback doesn't really make a difference. Macpherson strut front suspension, twist beam rear, 1.5L engine that makes 107hp 103tq, 93 inch wheelbase, 930ish kilograms (thats around 2000lbs for y'all south of the 49th parallel) its basically the original Golf GTI for 2000-2005

Yaris of shame? ouch that hurts... I like my yaris (first gen, so its still called an echo hatchback). Those cars arent so bad, with 105hp and weighing 2000lbs they're fairy peppy. You can have a lot of fun with those if you know what you're doing, and you can get into trouble if it turns out you dont. If anything it

Its a Canadian Echo hatchback, they didnt offer it in the states because the Sedan sold poorly in the states.

Having searched the internet for some "professional" reviews of the echo from 2000-2005 they seem to be more favourable then I remember. Back when the echo was released America was still all crazy about the suv so its not that surprising that an odd looking sub-compact car didnt garner much attention from the public,

I really dont understand why American auto sites seem to hate on the Echo, most reviews I've seen of it complain about it being slow (0-60mph in 8 seconds, drag coefficient of 0.29!), or barebones inside (The thing fucking cost $9995 for a brand new car in 2000, what did you expect?). Maybe if Americans were more

My dad has the 08 diesel, and every time I get behind the wheel I have to fight against my inner redneck. hold it at 2k revs and the small turbo is fully spooled (10 psi) and when you drop the brakes it hits 30psi of boost almost instantly and throws you into your seat. Gear changes are quick since it redlines at
