The LT1 F-bodies were much better than the competition at the time (1993-1997), which included the SN-95 Mustang (basically just an updated fox body), and essentially nothing from Dodge. The Stealth came out in 1996, and in 1998 the F-bodies got a refresh and the LS1. They were far from incredible, but even further

90's Chevy Monte Carlo.  Its just a two door Lumina.  No idea if any of these had any legitimate power, but they just looked like something trying to be something it wasn’t, especially when loaded with NASCAR stickers.

Transplants often forget that their region full of bad weather also includes a bunch of infrastructure that was specifically designed for it.
