I still don’t understand why a company would throw away 80+ years of brand equity. To be ‘edgy’ and push styling in a new direction?

I’m glad we’re getting away from the “GRR EVERYTHING MUST BE ANGRY” design language, but now they’ve transitioned to the “I must concentrate on not shitting my pants” design language.
It’s different, but not an improvement.
Allow me to cleanse your palates
“Ferrari shipped its first hybrid model last year, the F90 Stradale”
And yet you seemed to fit very comfortably in a 2-D pane of glass with a couple other people, Zod. Get over it.
Reliable and Alfa does not belong in the same sentence, unless that sentence contains a huge NOT. The CLA is another odd choice considering rear leg room is an issue. This dude is clueless.
how about a CT-6? AWD. GORGEOUS (IMO), has the GM 3.6 liter which is really reliable... and back seat space for days. Plus a 2019 can be had near new for that budget.
Let’s be honest, given how the weight distribution and center of gravity are totally fucked on that truck. It’s not going anywhere you couldn’t take one of the small motorhomes available on the used market.
I agree. If you’re gonna go through all the effort to make something this awesome, why in gods name would you strap this to a land rover when the toyota landcruiser exists? I didn’t build my house on top of a minefield. Same rule applies for campers.
Very cool set up but for this money I could get an actual purpose built motorhome with more space, a real bathroom, slideouts, and a more reliable powertrain.
I am sad to report that I love the Continental bulge grafted onto the otherwise anonymous Rivian.
Here’s an old picture of my current car, a ‘96:
William. I’m so glad you wrote this review as I LITERALLY just picked up an XV20 about a week ago. I got it from a buddy’s mom after the dealership tried to give them $200 for a trade in towards a Ford Fusion Titanium that they picked up. It’s in “Retirement Tan” as my friends call it. And I nabbed this wayward boat…
I think my reply was kinja’d so i’m trying again. Apologies if this is a repost.
...and a proper seller, who did the ad right AND has taken care of the car in the same manner I would. NP
It’s a hard pill to swallow, but ~22k USD for a 91k mile is in the lower range of price:miles for a B7 RS4 compared to offerings in the US.
I’m with you, but I would have gone with Tacoma.
to be clear, I dig it. It’s stupid and garish and impractical but so far removed from reality that its come around again to be cool.
Hey Tom, great advice as always. But a question about a part of the process that I don’t understand. I’m assuming that you, as a buyer, have to pay for the car to be transported to and from the shop performing the PPI right?
Also, do dealers just let their cars be pickup just like that? What happens if the car gets…
