As a sports wagon owner and enthusiast, you're just wrong.

As an owner of 2003 6 speed mtech #1090 of 1280 I agree on all fronts. The only thing these cars really need is an lsd, and you can bolt in an M5 unit for under a grand or so.

I'm pretty sure none of the audi RS 4.2 V8s or the E39 M5 and e9x M3 V8 engines are flat plane cranks and they rev beyond 8,000 rpm... Maybe not quite as quickly, but they certainly do it.

The r400 is cool and all, but stage III or 3+ a regular golf R and get over 400hp for less money. Screw warranties.

B5 S4 stuff is pretty much bolt on too.

It only gains somewhere between 12-18" of height while opening, if a garage roof were low enough to not allow the roof to stow, an average adult would have to walk through said garage hunched over.

I installed Akrapovic exhaust and bench flashed GIAC software on a brand new (400 miles) 7-speed Targa S the other day:

Lol, love UFO "internal disc" brakes. Too bad rotors are $300+ each. I'll be retrofitting B6 S4 brakes onto my 200 20v rather than replacing.

Im a mechanic and I'm not disagreeing because I want your money, but because non-mechanically inclined people just don't pay enough attention while lazily and lacidazically messing with very important safety systems in their vehicle such as the brake system.

There certainly was, I have a copy of it sitting with the service manual, part number 190042, lol. I went as far as calling the local dealer... You know, the one that crashed the F40 in Stamford... And they claimed that vin had the update performed, but the woman in the phone sounded clueless and the heads don't have

Lol we have a 2000 360 apart right now... Broken exhaust cam variator on the driver side bank.

I need this. May be the first newer audi I own. But used B7 RS4's are getting quite tempting (if porky) at around $30k these days...

so happy I'm not the only one that feels this way.

he was totally rolling his balls off. There is no other reason why he would ask the dude if he was ok. Plus the somewhat slow responses without a drunken slur or sloppiness. It's pretty well known he likes to indulge at least occasionally.

not my absolute favorite but the W211 Eclass is pretty sharp/classy looking IMO.

a timing belt is never "on the side" of an engine. It is always at the front, opposite the transmission. Just because your shitty car has the engine oriented the wrong way doesn't mean it is constructed differently.

how exactly do you get to the rear of the engine by taking apart the front of the car? The engine or transmission always comes out, usually both and rarely just the trans because the rear covers are tough to remove with the exhaust manifolds in place so the best bet is to remove the engine. I've done a few of these

if you can't handle or afford the potential consequences of the risk you are about to take... Maybe you shouldn't take it. If you don't have the proper skills to carry out such risky behavior without mishap... You deserve to be laughed at when you do it anyway and it blows up in your face. That's life. May I ask your

Benz is late to the party. BMW and Audi have been doing this for years now. The bmws seem to tend to eat turbos often though. The Audi engine is obviously the best, I've driven one of these tuned beasts and it's brutal in the most comfortable way possible:

China can build as good or as bad components as specified by their customer. As long as they don't let penny punchers over cheapen the manufacturing of the components and stampings it should be just fine. How many domestics use transmissions built there? It's not going to be a Benz Audi or BMW but it will cost
