I liked New Vegas WAY more than Fallout 3.

After how much I hated DA2 on both a gameplay and story level I'm finding it extremely hard to give a single fuck about DA3 until I can get some assurance that it's actually worth caring about.

I agree with this statement too, the LR costumes all look like "absolute vomit" to me too (probably the best description of them I've ever heard honestly) but I feel that the other costume you presented is even below that, like it's so generic that I think I'd rather play as the absolute vomit lol.

While I agree that Lightning's outfit in LR looks bad I think the outfit you're presenting here as better looks far worse...

You want an innovative idea for the next F-Zero? Take F-Zero GX make some new solid stages, up the graphics, add online play and player created tracks, that's seriously all you need to do, not every game has to reinvent the wheel so to speak.

Put it on the Vita/3DS/PSN or Live and then maybe we'll talk.
