I have a 360 but I mostly use my PS3 for online since I don't actually play that many games online anyway so whatever superiority Gold has on that front probably wouldn't be that noticeable to me anyway and so far PS+ has been a WAY better deal for me.

lol I just beat Sonic 3 legitimately (as in not using the stage select cheat to skip that stage) for the first time because of that damn barrel like a year or two ago even though I've had it since it first came out.

Don't think I've experienced much FOMO mainly because I rarely play anything co-op/online.

I mostly use my PS3 controller with my PC since the only games I actually use a controller for are either retro/retro style games which work great with a d-pad so I'm more interested in how long it'll be before the PS4's controller works on a PC.

The wiki arcticle you link to here clearly shows you exactly what the Luke meant with the part you quoted in your first post.

I suppose you could kill a supermutant with it if your INT and CHA are high enough to keep him talking long enough to get it lit.

To be honest considering the locks and mandatory check ups in place I'd be super surprised if X1 turns around and lets you play games region free.

So since Criterion isn't making this can I haz new Burnout plz?

The problem with this name doesn't lie with us hardcore types that'll know everything about the system down to the smallest specs by the fall but with Joe Derp who's gonna go in a retailer see "Xbox One" and "Playstation 4" and either automatically assume that the the PS4 is superior because of the higher number or

But even if that stuff isn't as huge of a deal as people are making it out to be still why would I choose to go through any of it when the competing console will have most of the same 3rd party games but without that bullshit at all?

Rainbow 6 Patriot?

I didn't really like Alan Wake, it was alright I guess but overall I found it to be kinda meh imo. Maybe I just went into it with too much hype? I dunno.

Maybe most of these guys posted their reactions before learning the news that wasn't actually in the presentation?

"I wonder how Americans are gaming at home. Whenever I'm playing a game, I never feel like I want to watch TV, so the ability to switch between the two makes no sense to me."

Even though I've NEVER heard anyone call the original Xbox "XBox 1" or something I've still found my mind automatically going there for atleast a second sometimes today when someone says Xbox One without clear context.

To quote a post of mine from earlier today:

I didn't find it that scary either in fact considering that by the end of the game you've more or less beaten down that city's entire bum population singlehandedly I felt like a badass lol.

I hope this is the case for their sake (of course I know they exist till I moved away I had a 2-5 kilobyte a second dialup connection... in 2011... yeah it's seriously that crappy there lol).

"There's also a clan of well over 5000 Halo players there who meet from all over the area"

I grew up in a little crap "town" in Mississippi. I don't live there anymore now but last I checked they still didn't have broadband except in select places their since the "town" is more or less just corn/cotton fields with the occasional building here and there.
