He’s only going to be in jail for another year with this sentence (actually a little less than a year - his time served counts toward the 24 month sentence). I’m betting someone comes for him when he’s released.

Buzzfeed is reporting the kidnapping may have been staged by the daughter, although the mother legitimately believed the daughter was kidnapped.

I think one big thing is that they’re more “officially” non-violent than actually non-violent, with anyone who wears a yarmulke knowing to give them a wide berth.

It would have to be a loss of accreditation to get them to fall in line. But, would the accreditation orgs even care? They don’t seem to now as the schools have already been handing out junk grades to athletes.   The whole system is a mess.

I know! I really liked the idea. I also appreciated that the panel this year was majority women of color as well. Honestly, this speaks volumes as to the selection of the winner this year.

Honestly, whenever Black women break down barriers like this there is always someone to act like there’s no way a dark skinned, short natural hair woman would be considered unattractive when we know that is not the case.

The DeBarges have had a hard life on account of the severe physical and sexual abuse they endured at the hands of their father (which has been discussed and documented in other platforms).  Here’s hoping they are able to find peace through that trauma at some point in their lives.

Good point I should’ve mentioned. It is possible to get repatriation, but you really have to be sure to read the fine print. 

From what I read, he has no health insurance including Medicaid. He lives in Georgia and Georgia refused to expand Medicaid under Obamacare. FYI, folks. If you have enough money to travel internationally, you have enough money to protect yourself in case of medical emergency. You need two things:
