I’m a dark skin, visibly Hispanic guy and I occasionally get the, “Oh that remark doesn’t apply to you, you’re not really Mexican/Cuban/Puerto Rican/Dominican/Brazillian/etc.” It’s like they’re saying, “You’re an honorary human being because you dance when we tell you to dance.”
