Last year I had the pleasure of dropping $2K to replace a laundry list of failed internal parts on my obsessively over-maintained, 80K mile, 2.4 Honda CRV engine. The variable valve timer, chain, and about 8-10 other guides and other items has shit the bed. I was glad to see how much better and cheaper it was than

It is completely pointless to hybridize an already strongly boosted engine in a pickup truck. What they should’ve paired it with should be the 3.3L NA V6 or the 5.0L V8.

No kidding. Retail prices are insane! I just priced mine. It’s the same as what I paid 10 YEARS AGO!

Top-mount refridgideezer’s are the best.

Me too.  I did that once an then bought the entire arms.

Or just used the existing heater core with a valve to adjust the amount of coolant flow.

I fixed it for you.

Amen. I’m entering my mid-40s now and have no children, and absent a calamity never will have any. I’ve never inherited one dime from anyone in my life, ever, and the likelihood I ever will is effectively nil. I’m not trying to leave some sort of estate to someone else as my siblings (both also childless) are in my

I think it’s a bit more nuanced as the incentives and subsidies serve more as a reward for making the decision to buy an EV — in the U.S. anyway. The federal EV tax credit doesn’t lower the purchase price (though it can lower the lease cost), you get the reward when you file your taxes in April of the following year.

How cool would it be if it understood casual language.

Would excessive speeding like this be reduced if all speed limits were based on some sort of scientifically-based actual safe traveling speed, rather than having areas of arbitrary reduced limits, seemingly for no reason other than revenue generation?

If it doesn’t get shaken to bits by an earthquake first

Yeah, it’ll just burn up in a forest fire, only to be extinguished by the tsunami wave.

The world has a human overpopulation problem anyway. Fuck ‘em.

I drove a rental VW Polo around Bavaria. That was a good plan

Another alternative would be to go the Washington Football Team route and call it “Nice Price or The Answer Indicating Disagreement with the Value Proposition of this Vehicle”

How about “nice price” and “HAHAHA go fuck yourself”?

That’s a whole ‘nother place, man. That’s softened butter spread on the skin of your lover.

I love these cars. Crack pipe.

The problem with late V12 cars is that they were essentially hand-built, and no two are the same. Parts that fit one car might not fit the next one made, but would fit the two after that.

I’m an ASE Master Tech who has been working on these cars for pretty much my entire professional

I will auto-stop and abandon any story that shoves a video down my throat
