Ah yes, Big Color.  I’m sure they’re responsible for the ‘Color of the Year’ which is announced at the beginning of the year, not the end.  It’s clearly pushed and not pulled.

The Mustang II (74-79) and Fox-body Mustang (79-2004) are not based on the same chassis.

It’s pretty easy to filter out 1 person complaining.  Just count them as 1 complaint a year.

I live in eastern NC, and Osprey make touch and go landings at the airport near my house, usually once a month or so. Plus I live 2 blocks from a hospital where a helicopter lands/takes off several times a day.  Just read they ungrounded them again, so I can look forward to that starting again soon.

I’ve lived in the DC area in the 70s, and my dad lived there in the 80s (I was still a teenager, so I went to visit often.)  In the early 90s I went there to see a concert, we were driving around the city pre-concert at RFK.  As we were driving around, I suddenly realized I was in a part of town I had never been in.

I can just imagine the fun of being the person receiving the complaints.  I hope they are by phone and the recipient has caller ID.  Then they can just pick up the phone and say, ‘Yep, another plane flew over your house, I gotcha marked down.’

It depends on the level of the remodel. For instance, we leveled our old concrete blockhouse building and built a modern design structure. Carry out sales immediately increased (we’re in pizza delivery with no seats.) They have forced us to do a minor interior remodel (new paint, new wall material, new decor, new

In 3 years of ownership, my Ram 1500 has had no problems at all, while in 1 year of ownership my RAV4 needed brakes, a battery, an AC compressor and a brake booster. When the VVTi started making noise at startup I got rid of it.

I don’t think Plan B is a prescription.  What she should have done - placed another order, and then worried about cancelling the first.

Were they given a company fuel card as well?  Because I’d chose company fuel over recharging at home, too.  Now if they offered the chance to recharge at work, I’d take advantage of that.

See my post above about my 255k mile C-max.  Hybrid Escapes have similar stories.  Note Ford Hybrids use Toyota hybrid technology.

Exactly, I have a C-Max hybrid and the repairs on the gas engine have been minuscule in comparison to other ICE engines I’ve owned. In fact, I’d say that the gas savings are only about 1/2 of what makes the C-Max the cheapest delivery car I’ve ever operated. To name some of the savings - no starter, no alternator, no

The car buying world has changed dramatically in the past few years. Say 15 years ago I used to be able to find good sub $1000 cars that would run relatively reliably for 2-3 years. Then you decide if you want to keep it if a major repair comes up. Those deals are incredibly hard to find now.  The number crept up and

That’s mot really how tax ‘write offs’ work. Buying something and then selling it at a loss means you save on paying taxes. But taxes aren’t 100%. So if you lose 100k, and save 20k in taxes (number used for illustrative purposes) you’ve still lost 80k.

Here’s a better story from the same teacher; who was one of my favorites, which may be hard to believe after this tale:

Just out of curiosity, why would the driver’s death rate matter at all? Insurance isn’t going to have to pay anything for them. They will for the passenger.  I was thinking one of the reason for increased rates for the vert would be increased property claims for roofs cut when the vehicle is broken into.

My popcorn button works to perfection on my microwave.  Almost every kernal popped, none burned.

We had to do this whenever the teacher left our room.  One person was the monitor, and wrote the names of everyone not behaving correctly on the chalk board.  What we would do it write them up there, and then erase them a minute or so later.  So it became a game of not being the person whose name was on the board when

I don’t know, the insurance on my e46 convertible is significantly higher than other BMWs I’ve owned.

Similar to the ‘if he was wearing a helmet on his motorcycle his neck would have been broken in that accident’ myth.
