I just want to say Lance Hunter on Agents of Shield is pretty much Hawkeye from the comics but without the arrows. He’s divorced from Mockingbird, he’s sarcastic, and he reacts to weird stuff the same way Hawkeye does.

1978. Damn Marvel is playing the long ball on this one.

Yes, Jane Foster was indeed part of the Thor mythology from the very beginning - who could forget reading about her in the Poetic and Prose Eddas?

I thought it was super weird they were all hanging out at STAR labs like NBD.

Was anyone actually selling this story as “bear chases humans”? I saw the video on Facebook on the weekend, and thought it was rather obvious that it was a freaked out bear who was just trying to get out of there.

With Frank Millar created villains like The Friendzoneler, Not all Clayman, Asian guy, Hush Woman, Black Face, Catladywoman and Ra’s allah Ghul.

Ooh! A game! Think of your favourite comics and describe a hypothetical Frank Miller re-imagining.

Now playing

Pretty much Black Widow works better when she is in a spy vs spy type of setting. Superheroes aren’t the spy movie genre. It’s like the whole BMX bandit and Angel Summoner...why use bmx skills when you have someone who can summon angels?

I’m almost convinced that Nanda Parbat is somewhere in Canada.

Oh, wait, I have a question!

I hate hated hated the ending of this episode. It was clearly going for a tug at the heartstrings but it was really really obvious that they weren’t going to kill most of the main characters. Like WTF was the point of that ending?

I guess that narrows it down to Hank being in the armor, then.

So what you’re saying is, they are AWESOME.

I’ve had a Carolina Dog for about 8 years... They are incredibly intelligent, athletic, flexible, easy to train and tend to be free of genetic issues that most domesticated breeds suffer from. Their behavior is more wild/feral, so they don’t automatically trust strangers. That trust needs to be earned over the course

At least Ra's knows that Ollie has some skills. I'm still stuck on why Waller got to the island and said to herself "Look, a random half-drowned white boy on the beach. I'm going to devote a lot of resources into turning him into an assassin in Hong Kong." Then, upon finding out who he was not making a deal with Moira

There’s a theory going around that this whole season has been a plot by Maseo (and Tatsu?) to steal the virus from Ra’s and finally destroy it. The more I think on it the more of a believer I become.

Just, ew with the whole “let’s force my lesbian daughter to marry this guy who is going to unleash a supervirus on the only friends she’s ever had.”

That moving gunfight around the room between Skye and the Hydra agents was a thing of beauty. It was claustrophobic, it was exciting, and it was my favorite action sequence from this series so far. It really felt like something that belonged on the big screen, not on a TV show.
