I'm not "blaming" testosterone. I'm simply offering the idea that it may be part of the equation. These "rape parties" are prompted by something more than skin color, or the need for power, or social condittoing. I do think that biology plays a role here. It's not "fucking bullshit," it's science. Testosterone

The other day I saw a photo of Brad Renfro. He was such a beautiful little kid. I hadn't thought about him in years, but I had an odd feeling that something weird probably happened to him too. Renfro followed the same trajectory as Haim. We'll never know. Sad.

I don't know if it's a race thing (your reference to white men) or if it's just a testosterone thing. Women don't seem to have the same drive. I can't imagine a slew of powerful women getting together for drug-fueled sex parties with underage girls. That has probably happened, but it certainly isn't an epidemic.

"Tanks need to be the appropriate size and style to properly contain the girls." I think that's where the problem lies. What some may think is "appropriate" might be vastly different from another person.

I've watched it. Cheryl was so awesome on Curb Your Enthusiasm. I'm embarrassed for her that she is playing a bimbo idiot on Suburgatory. That role is so beneath her.

Agreed. I hear people talking constantly about programs on television, and I can't fathom how they sit through that drivel. I can hardly watch 10 minutes before turning the station to PBS or HGTV. Like Suburgatory, Two and a half men and others, it's like it's been written for complete derelicts. I'm dumbfounded as

Waldenbooks FTW! I was a "key holder" in 1997—Goosebumps was at its peak of popularity. Meridian Mall! I haven't been back to that mall since I quit.

I have to admit it—I didn't like Ulysses. I was stunned when the NY Times named it the #1 novel. It's not that it is too difficult. I like tough lit; I can read Faulkner all day long. I'm just not a fan of James Joyce. Maybe I'll 1-star it.

I'm a big, big fan of the "You are worth the wait" campaign. That is so much better than sending the message: "Girl, if you do it, you'll be a dirty ho that everyone thinks is gross."

I feel the same way about the pro-life movement. Their "Life is a beautiful choice" campaign is so much better than "Abortion=murder."

Get a room! Nobody wants to see your Palin-lovefest.

Bette Midler has a good point. Shame is what kept me honest. I wasn't afraid of getting into trouble; I feared disappointing/embarrassing my family. Shame—let's bring it back.

I went back to work at 6 weeks. I always thought that "in a few months" I could work fewer hours, be home for more playmates or maybe even cut back to three days per week. It never happened. I had two weeks of vacation per year, and that was the only time I could have breakfast and lunch with my little one.

I was just thinking the same thing. THIS is how you write about Jimmy Carter. He's a hero!

Ahem….

Longtime GMA watcher. I remember the TOTMOM rants very well. Holy cats in cummerbunds, Nancy Grace is crazy.

You can have your pinwheels. That just means more Zingers for me!

Nice explanation, but maybe Kate Hudson could demonstrate.

Who is she wearing? Koret!

Like Velveeta, McDonald's, Tang and other things that are manufactured to please me, I give it a thumbs up. :)

Totally disagree.
